Half red leather (spines and corners). Spine have four gilt decorated raised bands and gilt lettering in. Tops scuffed with one showing a corners tears with small loss. Corners bumped and scuffed, as are edges. Paste-down marbled paper boards showing tears and loss.Books are tight with marbled page block edging. Pages generally clean with foxing and ageing to front endpapers particularly. What makes these volumes special are the multi-fold illustrations to be found within. Published by R Phillips and sold by Mr Johnson, St Paul's Churchyard, and M Debrett, Piccadilly.
