From an estate of one of the oldest aristocratic families, fundamental to British history, this part-filled (38 photos on card) mid 19th Century photo album includes: Abraham Lincoln, Queen Victoria with Prince Albert, Queen Victoria with Beatrice, 'Albert the Good', the Princess of Wales and various family members of the time including the surnames of Archer, Darbyshire, Woodhouse and Holland etc. The album itself has a missing brass clasp and has lost the leather to the spine. Brass edges and corners. Gilt edges pages. The photos are clean (one has been coloured by hand)
