A garniture of three Chinese export porcelain Mandarin vases.
Qing dynasty, 18th century.
Baluster form, with covers. Hand painted enamels court scenes in mandarin palette.
Height - 26cm

More Information

1st jar: This jar and cover is the most damaged. The dog finial is either heavily repaired or a replacement. There are two areas of damage to the rim of the lid. The neck is damaged, possibly completely reattached. The body of the jar also has what looks like a break which has been repaired.
2nd jar: Again some damage to the rim of the lid. One appears to be a large chip to the underside, the other is a possible replaced chip. Dog finial is original. There is one hairline crack of approx 2.5cm to the neck of the jar.
3rd jar: There is a small repaired chip and hairline crack to the lid. There are two hairline cracks of similar length to the neck of the Jar.
