A Chinese carved Rock crystal snuff bottle. Qing dynasty, 19th century. Skilfully carved roundels on translucent rock crystal Shoulao with walking stick and his assistant. Verso carved with blossoming prunus. Lion masks to shoulder. Height - 7cm. Provenance: From the collection of Prof J. Norman Colley FRS (1859-1942) and thence by descent.
