Two mid-century slipware moulded vases by Sylvac, England: pattern 4306, ochre spiral relief, and pattern 2452, celadon leaf-form pedestal, 11 cm and 16 cm high respectively. Founded 1894 in Staffordshire as Shaw & Copestake, SylvaC became renowned for whimsical moulded earthenware animals and decorative wares, flourishing through the 1940s–60s.
