All published from 1904 - 1911)  All published by Perrin et Co as follows: Vieilles maisons vieux papiers 1, 2, 3,(1911) 4 (1912), Paris Révolutionnaire (1904), La fille de Louis XVI (1907), Le baron de Batz (1910), Le Tribunal Révolutionnaire (1908),  Les Massacres de Septembre (1907) & Tournebut (1910). All are visually in superb condition and fail a Near Fine grading only due to light corner scuffing to marbled boards. Leather spines with gilt detailing are superb. Pages are all very clean and tight. Fantastic reference books for students of the French Revolution.

Provenance: This lot was amongst a collection from the house of a wealthy French family who lived in the 16th arrondissment of Paris, known for ornate buildings and wide boulevards and a favourite of Parisian high society. The gentleman who purchased them was born in 1877 and spent the war years in the same house, having sent his wife children to stay in the Pyrenees to avoid the Nazi occupation of Paris.  He was unable to get out in time but was fortunate enough to be able to sit out the occupation, keeping these and all other books in the collection safe from the Nazis.
