Condition: Poor. 625 pp. With etched frontispiece, etched title with vignettes, and etched plates by HK Browne (Phiz). First Edition issued as book, with several established "first printing points" -  present: "Rigaud" should have been "Blandois" on pages 467-474, "B2" is on page 371, and there is a three-line errata statement on page xiv. Condition lets it down so an excellent rebinding project. Spine has lost the bottom third of the leather. Front board is partially detached and all edges and corners are badly scuffed. Book is aged and spotted throughout although not total. Pages are tight. Estimate reflects condition and rebinding potential.
